I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and Ignacio for all your help in making our recent trip to Malaga such a success! We (the teachers) and the students all had an amazing time – everything was perfect from the homestays to the language lessons and all the visits we did. Ignacio was so helpful and accommodating throughout the trip and he had a great rapport with the girls.

We had a lovely time in Malaga. The students have returned to school this week and are buzzing about their time and experience – thank you!
They have enjoyed many of the cultural sites of Malaga including the Malaga Museum; the Picasso Museum, Malaga Cathedral, Malaga’s Roman Theatre and the Alcazaba. In addition, they enjoyed cultural and culinary delights including a flamenco dance workshop, tapas tasting, a traditional paella lunch, Moroccan tea tasting and a visit to a local Spanish school.

We had a fantastic trip, as ever. Many, many thanks to Hispanglia for organising it.
The students have come back to the UK full of the joys of Spain and are very keen to practise the Spanish they learned in class and with their families.
There were so many highlights but the students particularly enjoyed the Picasso museum tour, the Mezquita, the kind and funny teachers at Debla, their host families and the Rosaleda tour.
Our tour director was brilliant with the students, and there was the right combination of a busy schedule of activities and free time for the students.
Málaga is such an amazing city. You can’t help but feel energized by the beautiful blue skies and Spring warmth. Just wandering around the old city and the port area and taking in the sights, sounds and smells of southern Spain was a tonic for our students after months of dull, grey days. Many are already making plans to return!
Thanks once again. This is really one of the highlights of the year for the Spanish department and we are so pleased to be able to once again bring students out to Spain after the Covid years.
Our trip went so well, thank you. The pupils did not want to come home in fact and several of them were thinking of asking their prospective universities if they could do their year abroad in Malaga!
The visits were great. The Spanish school was great – very nice location and facilities and the staff were lovely.
The accommodation worked out very well for all of us, and the Tour Director was great as ever and the kids loved him. It was a super trip Monica and I’m looking forward to going back in October. And also, hopefully to continue the tradition of a sixth form trip in February 2024.
Now that we are back in England and back at school too I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the trip to Malaga. I have had a lot of very positive feedback from the parents who have been saying that it was a fantastic trip and that their children have had a great time. The students had a super time and I would say that it was certainly up there amongst the top trips that I have organized. A very big thank you and I hope to see you soon with another group.
We had a wonderful time and Ignacio was great, as always. The itinerary was superb and the lesson went down really well with the pupils – certainly something we’d like to continue with going forward.

From the moment we stepped off the plane at Malaga airport, we received a warm welcome and felt cared for and properly looked after throughout our whole trip. All of us, adults, and students alike, thoroughly enjoyed the diverse and authentic experiences that Hispanglia had arranged for us on our itinerary. Our visits to the Cathedral Mosque at Cordoba, local markets and the Picasso Museum, the tea and ‘churros con chocolate’ tasting, Spanish school visit and opportunities to explore have significantly expanded our students’ cultural knowledge and given them wonderful life-long memories. It’s what a school trip abroad should be like for everyone, and I’m already re-booking for our next trip!
I just wanted to say thank you for an amazing trip! We had a fantastic time. All students enjoyed the experience and the flamenco dancing on the last day was a massive hit! It was a shame about the bag but these things happen and he was warned not to leave his things.

Our trip with Hispanglia exceeded expectations. Monica was extremely well organised and diligent answering any query immediately. She is extremely knowledgeable and took the stress out of organising a school trip. When we arrived in Málaga, we were met by our tour guide, the fantastic Ignacio, who immediately put us at ease.
The host families are very experienced and made the students feel very welcome. They spoke to them in Spanish, which gave our students the best possible opportunity to be immersed in the language.
The itinerary planned by Monica was outstanding, as it allowed the students to take part in language lessons, to experience Spanish customs and traditions and to be fully immersed in the culture. Thank you Hispanglia for the most amazing and stress-free trip.

We have used Hispanglia on many occasions and once again we had a great time and the students really enjoyed the experience. We had a fantastic experience with Hispanglia. We were so impressed by the way the itinerary gave students the opportunity to really engage with the people and country. I do not think any other company offers such an authentic experience of Spain for the young visitor. “The trip had been well organized, with many interesting activities and places to see. Students had many chances to interact with locals. Our guide on those occasions was exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable, the whole tour was also mainly in Spanish. For us it was very relaxing as we didn’t need to worry about any planning because he took very good care of our students. The accommodation was of a good standard, clean and modern. “This was our second trip to the beautiful and sunny destination of Andalusia but the first in many years for St John’s younger students and thanks to Hispanglia it was a resounding success. Every aspect had been meticulously organised and each activity ran to schedule. It was really wonderful for St John’s students to discover that Malaga is not just an airport but a lovely city and a thriving community of historical significance. The magnificence of Seville did not fail to impress them and we particularly appreciated that, our tour director, did not overload students with historical or artistic information but kept it simple and to the point and invited them to appreciate and feel the delights of the Parque Maria Luisa and the Real Alcazar. The tetería and churros tasting experiences scored highly but Isla Mágica was definitely voted favourite activity. Not only was this trip a cultural delight but it also provided students with several opportunities to interact in Spanish with students at a local school in Málaga and when shopping at markets or in the towns’ boutiques. Hispanglia provided us with the perfect mix of events and our students declared it the best school trip they had ever been on. ¡Hasta la próxima Hispanglia!”

Our tour guide had lovely manners with the children and always adapted the information to their age (9-12 years old). She made the perfect balance of English / Spanish in her explanations and I think we have even found a few future translators among our students. We highly rate the Hotel. The rooms are really cool with the bed ‘pods’ and we also appreciated the common room downstairs. We also thought that the food was good. We do like Ronda, I am so glad we did it! Beautiful! The kids were also very impressed. The longer bus ride wasn’t a problem. We skipped Marbella for Torremolinos and had a great walk along the promenade to the pizza place. Really lovely!
I also remember when you came in to talk me through the trip etc many years ago. We also met the first time we came over. The trip is still very popular amongst staff and pupils.
This was my last one though as I am retiring from teaching. And I enjoyed every trip. Many thanks for all your patience and help over the last 12 years!
